Minnesota’s Grain Storage Facility Safety Grant offers farmers a powerful incentive to bolster their on‑farm grain handling safety systems by covering up to 75 % of approved expenses (maxing out at $400 per bin or a $2,400 cap per farm annually). Eligible upgrades include fall protection systems, guardrails, dust collection units, air‑quality monitors, and more — but only after a fully signed grant contract is in place.
