Clean Cars MN rule to end after successfully increasing electric vehicles in the state

With the end of the 2025 model year in the automobile industry, so ends Minnesota's Clean Cars rule.
The Clean Cars rule, adopted in 2020, had a goal of electric vehicles exceeding 6% of all new, light-duty vehicle sales in Minnesota. According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation's electric vehicle dashboard, approximately 7% of all new light-duty vehicle sales in 2024 were electric vehicles.
MDA offers two Farm Resiliency Grants - due Jan. 15

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is now accepting applications for two Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation (AGRI) grants that help Minnesota farmers strengthen their operations in the face of biosecurity threats and extreme weather.
The AGRI Protecting Livestock from Avian Influenza (Protect) Grant and the AGRI Preparing for Extreme Weather (Prepare) Grant are now open for applications.
The Dairy Business Planning Grant encourages business planning for Minnesota dairy farms and dairy processors.
Grants cover 50% of the cost, up to $5,000, to hire a qualified, independent third party to provide technical assistance services for evaluating the operation, transitional changes, expansions, improvements, and other business modifications.
